International Master and contest for future knitwear designers
Since 2010, FTY organized the International Master and Contest for future knitwear designers.
Once a year, students from the best fashion schools all around the world are invited in Italy for a short, but effective, training program on materials and textile processes.
Each July, during Pitti Immagine Filati trade fair, they participate in a fashion contest that awards the best idea and outfit.

Feel the yarn awards to the start up ” Feel the Yarn”
Feel the yarn supports young aspiring knitwear designers awarding the best of them with free supplies of fancy yarns for making their dreams come true.
During the year the yarns the feel the yarn partner enterprises put up as a prize will be showed in the web site, in the FTY section, reserved to graduates at one of our partner (schools) who are not already in the business.
